Oh hey 2016... 😄 What a year that was! Moved to the US from Australia with a Brazilian/Aussie accent (imagine THAT! lmao) and a suitcase full of dreams...

That year was crazy... While I chasing my dreams, getting married to the love of my life, flying back and forth to Brazil (my home country) while my mom was fighting cancer... And she passed. My mom is such a beautiful Light & Soul that our connection is certainly for all eternity. ✨️

In 2016 I also booked my first short film in the US among commercials. Modeled. Started showing up online as a model and actress.

2016: New country. New dreams. Grief. Courage..!! Immigrant life, if you are one... you know how it goes! ✨️

I was posting motivation back then too —
not because it was trendy, but because I needed it to survive and in my heart I knew I could be helping someone else too! ♡

How a decade can go by so faaaast and at the same time it feels like a lot!

Let me DEINFLUENCE you. The internet LOVES to assume things.
But here’s the reality:
I’m a woman who works — a lot — toward a future I believe in.

My husband and I are building something solid for ourselves and our daughter.
Not overnight.
Not loudly.
But intentionally.

I come from a very humble reality in Brazil.
So no, I don’t own designer bags.
That’s a personal choice,
I want the day I buy one to feel like a prize, not pressure!!

YEP, I repeat outfits.
Some are over 10 years old.
And I wear them with pride.
But yes — I love dressing well.
Not to impress strangers,
but to align with the life I’m creating 😉

I dress like the woman I’m becoming.
Because how you show up matters.
Energy matters.

Foreign moms understand this deeply.
You don’t leave your country to look rich —
you leave to build a better life.
And here’s the lesson I stand by:
If you want to change your reality,
you have to start moving differently —
and thinking differently.
That’s not shameless.
That’s intentional.

When I felt lost, overweight, swollen legs and fee

When I felt lost, overweight, swollen legs and feet, hair falling out, exhausted, and disconnected from myself after becoming a mom (and even you're not a mom, I hope my story helps or inspires you throughout 2026!!):

1️⃣ I stopped waiting to “feel ready.”
I started as I was. Tired. Emotional. Messy.

2️⃣ I committed to 10 minutes a day of movement.
Not to lose weight — but to remind my body it’s alive.

3️⃣ I meditate 6 minutes a day.
Sometimes more. Sometimes less.
Consistency > perfection.

4️⃣ I dance whenever I can.
In the kitchen. With my baby. Alone.
Joy is healing.

5️⃣ I plan my days ahead of time.
Not to control life — but to feel grounded.
Even if I don’t complete it all, I keep going.

6️⃣ I stopped talking badly about my body.
This body carried me through immigration, pregnancy, motherhood.
It deserves respect.

7️⃣ I speak to myself like someone I love.
Because I am someone I love.

8️⃣ I visualize my happy life daily.
Not someday.
Now.

9️⃣ I celebrate small wins.
Energy. Breath. A good mood. A good day.

🔟 And most importantly —
I decided I was worth the effort, every single day.
This didn’t happen overnight.

But it did happen when I stopped quitting on myself.

The baby I started the year with vs the baby I'm ending the year with... OMG I feel so blessed!

Time really goes by fast and one lesson I certainly learned this year is to appreciate every single day of my life, spending each day with my best intentions, doing my very best, despite of what I had 'planned to accomplish' on every day but sometimes I couldn't... Being a mom (specially with no family or very little help around) is a challenge in many aspects but omg, it's definitely so rewarding!! I'm grateful to God for this great miracle in my life!

To all mommas out there, congrats in your journey! We're truly super heroes!! And remember to always love yourself too - your baby will ALWAYS notice that, in a very positive way (much more than you can imagine!).
